PUT THIS IN PERSPECTIVE, WE DON ‘T HAVE IT SO BAD! THE RECENT GENERATION HAVE NEVER ENDURED ANY HARDSHIPS.

HOPE IT’S A CHARACTER BUILDING EXPERIENCE, PASS IT ON TO YOUR KIDS.

Maybe we don’t have it that bad? Excellent perspective for anyone born
in 1900…..

It’s a mess out there now. Hard to discern between what’s a real threat and what is just simple panic and hysteria. For a small amount of perspective at this moment, imagine you were born in 1900.

On your 14th birthday, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday. 22 million people perish in that war. Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and runs until your 20th
birthday. 50 million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.

On your 29th birthday, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, the World GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 33. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy.

When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet. And don’t try to catch your breath. On your 41st birthday, the United States is fully pulled into WWII. Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war.

Smallpox was epidemic until you were in your 40’s, as it killed 300 million people during your lifetime.

At 50, the Korean War starts. 5 million perish. From your birth, until you are 55 you dealt with the fear of Polio epidemics each summer. You experience friends and family contracting polio and being paralyzed and/or die.

At 55 the Vietnam War begins and doesn’t end for 20 years. 4 million people perish in that conflict. During the Cold War, you lived each day with the fear of nuclear annihilation. On your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, almost ended. When you turn 75, the Vietnam War finally ends.

Think of everyone on the planet born in 1900. How did they endure all of that?

When you were a kid in 1985 and didn’t think your 85-year-old grandparent understood how hard school was. And how mean that kid in your class was. Yet they survived through everything listed above.

Perspective is an amazing art. Refined and enlightening as time goes on. Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Your parents and/or grandparents were called to endure all of the above – you are called to stay home and sit on your couch, tutor your kids, watch with your TV, go on your computer and (Dick Tracy) cell phone.

SO PLEASE…NO MORE WHINING!

President’s Message May 2020

Dear Fellow Republicans

I hope this letter finds you well. We all are going through a life experience we never expected and are not sure what to expect once the quarantine is phased out. For certain life won’t be the same.

A lot of what we need to continue to practice, like frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes are just plain good hygiene.

Your Board has continued to meet by Zoom. Our goal is to re-start our monthly meetings in June. Since the June Meeting is the SECOND Friday the 12th, it increases our probability of holding this meeting.

Because of the ever changing conditions our promotion time will be short. A committee of the Board is working on the criteria for a safe meeting environment. Stay tuned by checking our web site or Facebook.

The JUNE PROGRAM will be Congressional Candidates running to replace Francis Rooney who is retiring. We have a stellar field.

Future meetings up to the August 18 primary, will feature Collier County Commissioner candidates, districts 1, 3 and 5. In addition we will have State Representatives for seat 80 and open School Board seats. These like all other elected offices are critical for our community.

The 2020 election is a break point for our Constitutional Republic. We must re-elect President Trump, hold the Senate and take back the House.

The Radical Democrats are obsessed with their hatred of Trump. They will do ANYTHING to get control of all branches of Government .

Remember, its all about POWER. They are Elitists. You are only a Pawn on a chessboard to them.

The radical Dem’s money machine will target every Republican and any Democrats who step out of line to discredit, lie and create false narratives about them. They are ruthless.

Of course over 90% of the media is a willing partner in these assassinations. Only two outlets give us a reasonable hearing : Fox News and Newsmax. The latter being the best. Support every candidate you can.

The Radical Democrats National ticket, led by Joe, the puppet, Biden is a disgrace. He never was the sharpest tack in the box. A grinning, glad handing, touchy feely oh yea, kind of guy.

His VP will also, be a puppet. They are the SWAMP’S delight. A mental incompetent and a yes person owned by the far left money machine. If this were a play, we would title it “ The Death of America.”

Let’s rewrite the Script. KEEP AMERICA GREAT. We can win, but we will have to dig deep to fund our Trump candidates and work extra hard to get out the vote.

Let’s save this Republic. Remember in this election they aren’t just coming after Trump, they are. Coming after you.

Logic and Steps to Opening America

  • President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force are leading an unprecedented, comprehensive, and aggressive whole of America approach to slow the spread of the virus. This decisive response started in January.
  • President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force released guidelines for opening America safely.
    • “Opening Up America Again” is a three-phased approach that is based on the advice of public health experts and empowers our local and state officials.
    • Individual states have the ability to reopen in phases and governors can tailor the roadmap to fit their needs. 20 states have announced they are making preparations to reopen.
    • Under this plan, Americans can safely return to work as conditions allow.
    • The President’s plan continues to prioritize the health and safety of the American people, especially our seniors and most vulnerable.
    • There has been critical progress made in flattening the curve thanks to the commitment of the American people.
  • President Trump announced the U.S. is putting a 60 day pause on immigration to ensure our workers are protected.
    • According to a recent USA Today/Ipsos poll, 80% of Americans favor an immigration pause.
    • Democrats and many in the liberal media have previously argued against mass migration. While he was a Senator, Barack Obama said mass migration “threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.” “Immigration reduces the wages of domestic workers who compete with immigrants. That’s just supply and demand,” noted Paul Krugman.
  • As we continue to slow the spread of the coronavirus, President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force continue to expand testing and get supplies to areas in need.
  • President Trump is committed to ensuring our small businesses across the country have the support they need. Yesterday, the Senate passed new funding for the PPP which has saved $30 million jobs.
    • The new package includes:
       An additional $310 billion for PPP.
       $75 billion to support hospitals.
       $25 billion for expanding testing efforts.
       $60 billion for the SBA’s economic injury disaster loans.
    • The Democrats delay was inexcusable and likely cost millions of American jobs.
    • It’s time the House pass this package.
  • Polls continue to show Americans are approving of the President’s response efforts:
    • A Fox News poll showed President Trump’s approval at an all-time high – 49%.
    • A Harvard-HarrisX national poll shows 50% of respondents approve of the President’s coronavirus response.
  • Americans know President Trump is fighting for them during these challenging times.

Digital Campaigning

  • While the nation manages the coronavirus outbreak, the Trump campaign and RNC are turning to their unprecedented virtual and digital campaign tools to ensure there is safe campaigning.
  • The campaign and the RNC are virtually engaging volunteers. This is the first-time voter contact has been done purely remotely.
  • Efforts include:
    • Holding virtual events with top surrogates.
       The Trump campaign is offering online events 7 days per week.
       All Team Trump online broadcasts have achieved over 1 million unique viewers.
    • Utilizing online platforms to train thousands of members of the Trump Neighborhood Team.
       Since the virtual campaigning began on March 13, the RNC/Trump campaign have signed up 276,000 new volunteers.
    • Activating the massive volunteer network to make calls to rally support for President Trump in states voting soon.
  • Prior to the coronavirus outbreak we were well positioned for success in November.
    • We’ve already trained and activated over 1 million volunteers.
    • We have made 20 million voter contacts.
    • We’ve registered 80,000 voters – nearly double the 2016 cycle.
    • The RNC, Trump Campaign, and authorized joint fundraising committees continue to have unprecedented fundraising success. The fundraising entities raised $212 million in the first quarter of 2020.
       The RNC and Trump committees raised more than $63 million in March alone.
       The cycle to date haul Is $677 million, $270 million more than the Obama re-elect.
       The RNC and Trump campaign committees have over $240 million cash on hand.
  • This effort is unmatched by the DNC and the Biden campaign.

The Curve is Flattening

Thanks to the hard work and efforts of Floridians like you across our state, data shows we are flattening the curve! The media reported we would be like Italy and New York, but today, we are not. We have more work to do, but Governor DeSantis is encouraged by the results.

Governor Ron DeSantis made fact based and data backed decisions to help flatten the curve and protect Floridians.

Governor DeSantis declared a state of emergency and activated the Florida National Guard, suspended visitation to nursing homes and assisted living facilities and required strict screening procedures for all associated staff. He moved students to virtual learning, enacted a mandatory 14 day quarantine for visitors from coronavirus hotspots, and expanded testing. Florida has now tested nearly 260,000 people! Our state is currently running the biggest emergency operation in state history! Florida hired 100 additional epidemiologists to support the Department of Health’s contact tracing, opened field offices, and has over 400 medical professionals on standby, not including the national guards medical unit.

Data shows the efforts of Governor DeSantis, our state leaders, and Floridans across our state are working, especially compared to what experts expected many weeks ago.

Today, our hospital and ICU bed space has been INCREASING, not decreasing, and our field hospitals remain EMPTY. Data also shows the number of hospitalizations per 100,000 people are 15 times higher in New York than in Florida.

We have more work to do, but this is promising news for Floridians across our state. Thank you for social distancing and working hard to stop the spread.

Fellow Republicans

The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) has requested that we temporarily cancel all Republican sanctioned events in compliance with President Trump’s direction. This order is to be in effect until April 15th. Accordingly, the Republican Men’s Club of Collier County has canceled our scheduled April 3 breakfast at the Pelican Marsh Country Club. As of this date, our May 1st breakfast remains scheduled, as planned.

An announcement will be forthcoming regarding any adjustments to plans as further information becomes available. Meanwhile, stay healthy so that we all may enjoy each other’s company in May.

Bernie Sanders: The modern day Medicine Man. In his bottle of magic potion are all the cures for what ever ailment’s America has today.

His audiences are primarily ignorant of what the effects are of his proposed cures. They cheer and applaud with blind enthusiasm. He is like a mid evil doctor performing brain surgery. The patient dies.

Today the patient is America and his “cures” are failed practices from the past. The problem is his audiences are uneducated about the ingredients in his bottle of magic potion. All these ingredients are from the failed garden of Socialism.

While major examples exist Venezuela, Cuba, etc. Bernie ignores these and tries to jump to other countries. His favorite examples are the Scandinavian countries. Well Senator Sanders you are wrong. They have flourishing Capitalism. Private stock exchanges, private property, corporations are by and large privately owned.They have thrived for many different reasons but it’s not from high taxes on business and personal wealth.

Our current business tax rate is now what the Scandinavians have enjoyed for over the last 20 years. Of course your audiences don’t know you are not telling the truth. The professorial population that indoctrinates them are very far left and have no idea how the real world works.

These young people cheer your proposals of free education, single payer health care, the green new deal, elimination of the current tax reforms on business, resigning the Iran Nuclear agreement, to name a few. He Describes himself as a Democratic socialist, progressive and pro-labor rights activist. A nice definition for a film flam man.

Here is the real truth. Socialism leads to authoritarian rule. Germany: Adolfo Hitler, The National Socialist Party. Italy: Mussolini’s, fascism, Russia: Stalin’s starving of a million Ukrainians, China: Mao Zedong 1958 to 1960 China’s great famine, some 30 to 40 million died.

While these may seem extreme, history does repeat itself. Little by little these countries lost individual freedom.

It can and is happening here. We see a two tier justice system. Single payer health care systems, evolve to the same as justice; public health care and private health care. Public is second rate from service, equipment and facilities. Private is top of the line. Which only the elite can afford (Oligarchs, Government leaders,etc).

Bernie Sanders is a wealthy man who has lived of a government payroll since 1971. His wealth accumulation came out of your pocket. He has no idea how to pay for all his free proposed programs. When questioned, his response was , we will have to work on that.

He is highly energetic and not to be taken lightly. Like the medicine man of old, he wants you to believe he is the real deal.

Recently a college student was asked if he favored free tuition. Of course he replied, it will help me a lot. The follow up question was do you mind paying for those coming behind you? This was met with a blank stare, I hadn’t thought about that. I rest my case

This is why 2020 is such a critical election year, our Republic is on trial. We can’t let the Bernie Sanders of the world win. History teaches us socialism is a failed process. No matter how you package it, the results are always the same. More government, higher taxes , lower standard of living and the eventual death of freedom.

January President’s Message – The Day Trump Came to Town

The day Donald Trump came down the escalator the World started watching. He stood for and has always stood for American sovereignty.

These United States would no longer be the cookie jar for the world. No more appeasement to our enemies. NATO pay your fair share. NAFTA is a not in America’s best interests. We want a new agreement. Iran nuclear agreement, it’s off the table. China the party is over. He stood up for America.

The progressive elitists laughed. He can’t win. We, who are the heart and soul of America, were called deplorable’s. Yes, you could smell us in Walmart. Then he won. Donald Trump delivered and the World watched.

His reward has been a constant barrage by the progressives to discredit him for all his successes. These elites on both sides of the isle are besides themselves. The Russian Hoax, a laughable impeachment and constant barrage of lies, half truths and innuendos has only strengthened and broadened his base.

He has taken out major terrorists, the latest being Soleimani.

Attack us and you will pay the price. He doesn’t draw false red lines. He means business. Appeasement isn’t in his vocabulary.

He has set the appeasers of the world back on their heels. The people of the world who want freedom are watching and taking action.

In Hong Kong people waving American flags are demanding the Chinese Government honor the transfer of power agreement between them and Great Britain, Taiwan elects a Democratic Government, soundly defeating the Communist party.  Iranians walked around the American flag painted on the street while demonstrating against Muhl run Government.

These demonstrators are teargassed and shot in the streets for wanting to be a free people. The appeasers cry out Trump will Start World War III. He didn’t.

The world watches. The elites and far left Democrats in the House Impeach the President because he dared to to make others accountable. Thousands attend his rallies while Socialist Democrats have boring exchanges on how bad America is and want to destroy individual freedom and decision making. The world watches.

Major trade agreement is signed with China, DOW hits record high, unemployment at all time low, wages up, 401k’s soar, all groups prosper and America is energy independent to name a few.

Left wing appeasers in and out of government seek to destroy Donald Trump. This Churchillian figure stands tall. He will continue to lead this Sovereign Nation to new levels of greatness .

The world watches.

President’s Message – End of Year Greeting

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a wonderful New Year!

It’s the time of year to enjoy family and friends. What ever your religious affiliation, it’s time to pause and remember what Christmas is all about. A time where the Prince of Peace reminds us that life is about good will towards humanity as we strive to make the world a better place.

Our founders were men and women of faith who came here to be free of tyranny and worship as they choose. Freedom is a blessing and we must practice due diligence to keep it. Never before in the history of our Country has freedom been in such peril.

Freedom covers all aspects of our lives. Speech, Association, Religion, Self Protection, Public Assembly to name a few. All of us need to take time over this Holiday season and reflect on our freedoms.

What ever your faith or if you are an agnostic or atheist you are free to make that choice. If you don’t defend those rights, you will lose the opportunity to express your point of view with out violent repercussions. Just look around you and watch what is happening across the United States. It’s heart breaking.

Nativity scenes are desecrated or removed because it offends someone. A nativity scene in California was put in cages. A police officer is gunned down in Jersey City by black Zionist’s. A young woman is severely beaten on a New York subway because she is talking to a friend about her support for President Trump.

None of this is good will toward humanity. When we allow those who commit these evil deeds and don’t take action to correct these wrong doings we are very much part of the problem.

I believe we have every opportunity to practice our faith and be a part of the solution to restoring civility to America. This is the time of year to make a commitment to self to be a part of the solution. Listening to another’s point of view, debating the issues, agreeing to disagree can be a civil discourse. Finding workable solutions is what it’s all about.
