Letter from the organizers

Last year was a great year to be a Republican, especially in Collier County.  I hope that you will join “THE PARTY” as we celebrate all the volunteers who helped make Collier the Number 1 Republican county by turning out 91.47% of the vote.   This election was a true grassroots success story with volunteers at 3 offices in Collier County along with those volunteering outside the offices taking our message throughout the county talking to their friends and neighbors, writing Letters to the Editor, waving signs, standing at the polls, and so much more.  With the extraordinary efforts of all our volunteers, we won at the local, state and national level.  We are inviting all elected officials to join us in celebrating those who helped them win!

We are pleased to announce that we will also honor our Collier County Supervisor of Elections, Jennifer Edwards.  Jennifer is an outstanding example and role model for all Supervisors of Election across the state.  She maintains accurate records, manages polling locations efficiently, ensures that all voting is secure and without fraud.  She is a role model within the community and highly respected by all.

The Collier County Republican Executive Committee (CCREC) in conjunction with all the Republican Clubs in Collier County including the Women’s Republican Club of Naples Federated, the Caxambas Republican Club, the Republican Women of Southwest Florida Federated, the Collier Republican Club, the Men’s Republican Club of Collier County, and the Republican Club of Ave Maria sponsors this annual event.

Always remember ‘There is no I in Team’ – this was a fabulous team effort including every one of you!  Now it’s time to party with the full team

Us

“US”

by Paul Genova

I’m noticing that a lot of you aren’t graciously accepting the fact that your candidate lost. In fact, you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those of us who voted for Trump.

Some of you are apparently “triggered” because you are posting how “sick” you feel about the results.

How did this happen, you ask?

——————-

You created “us”

when you attacked our freedom of speech.

You created “us”

when you attacked our right to bear arms.

You created “us”

when you attacked our Christian beliefs.

You created “us”

when you constantly referred to us as racists.

You created “us”

when you constantly called us xenophobic.

You created “us”

when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.

You created “us”

when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.

You created “us”

when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors.

You created “us”

when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.

You created “us”

when you attacked our flag.

You created “us”

when you took God out of our schools.

You created “us”

when you confused women’s rights with feminism.

You created “us”

when you began to emasculate men.

You created “us”

when you decided to make our children soft.

You created “us”
When you decided to rewrite school history books and remove the truth about our founders

You created “us”

when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.

You created “us”

when you attacked our way of life.

You created “us”

when you decided to let our government get out of control.

“You” created “us”

the silent majority.

You created “us”

when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers.

You created “us”

when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn’t remove your hat during our National Anthem.

And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up.

And we did it with ballots, not bullets.

With ballots, not riots.

With ballots, not looting.

With ballots, not blocking traffic.

With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of “us”.

“YOU” created “US”.

It really is just that simple.

Experts Have Found The Following Analysis To Be Nearly 100% Accurate

  1.   The Wall Street Journal is read by the people who run the country.

  2.   The Washington Post is read by people who think they run the country.

  3.   The New York Times is read by people who think they should run the country, and who are very good at crossword puzzles.

  4.   USA Today is read by people who think they ought to run the country but don’t really understand The New York Times.

  5.   The Los Angeles Times is read by people who wouldn’t mind running the country, if they could find the time and if they didn’t have to leave Southern California to do it.

  6.   The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country.

  7.   The New York Daily News is read by people who aren’t too sure who’s running the country and don’t really care as long as they can get a seat on the train.

  8.   The New York Post is read by people who don’t care who is running the country as long as they do something really scandalous, preferably while intoxicated.

  9.   The Chicago Tribune is read by people that are in prison that used to run the state, and would like to do so again, as would their constituents that are currently free on bail.

10.   The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another country, but need the baseball scores.

11.   The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren’t sure if there is a country or that anyone is running it; but if so, they oppose all that they stand for. There are occasional exceptions if the leaders are gay, handicapped, minority, feminist, atheists, and those who also happen to be illegal aliens from any other country or galaxy, provided of course, that they are not Republicans.

12.   The National Enquirer is read by people trapped in line at the grocery store.

13.   The Seattle Times is read by people who have recently caught a fish and need something to wrap it in.

Great Truths

1. In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man  is a shame, two is a law firm,
and three or more is a congress.
John Adams

2. If you don’t read the newspaper you are uninformed,

if you do  read the newspaper

you are  misinformed.

Mark Twain

3. Suppose you were an idiot.

And   suppose you were a member of   Congress.

But then I repeat   myself.

Mark Twain

4. I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and
trying to lift himself up by the handle.

Winston Churchill

5. A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on  the support of Paul.

George   Bernard Shaw

6. A liberal is someone who feels a
great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money.

7. Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.
P.J. O’Rourke, Civil Libertarian

8. Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases:

If it   moves, tax it.

If it keeps   moving, regulate it.

And if it   stops moving, subsidize it.
Ronald Reagan (1986)

9. I don’t make jokes.

I just watch the government and report the   facts.

FIVE BEST SENTENCES

1. You cannot legislate the poor into   prosperity, by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by  dividing it.

5. When half of the people get the   idea that they do not have to work, because the other half is going to take care of them,

and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else

is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.
