Trent Steele Bio:

Mr. Steele has held a private investigator license in Florida since 2011. He co- founded Anti-Predator Project, Inc. with his wife in 2012. Anti-Predator Project is the first and only IRS recognized 501(c)3 fully licensed private investigative firm in the United States. Anti-Predator Project specializes in the criminal investigation into individuals and organizations involved in human trafficking, the location and recovery of American children that have been bought and sold on the black market, missing children, cyber predators, and all other human trafficking related crimes. Mr. Steele currently serves as the President and National Director of Investigative Operations for Anti-Predator Project. Over the last 12 years Mr. Steele has become a recognized expert in the field of human trafficking, missing persons, and organized crime, he regularly consults with other non-profit organizations and law enforcement agencies around the world. Mr. Steele and Anti-Predator Project have appeared in the Media on Nancy Grace, ABC News 15 Arizona, Crime Junkie Podcast, Kendall Rae, Crime Door TV, Rise TV, Unsolved Mysteries, Good Morning America, and in various print mediums to include the book Epidemic, Americas Trade in Child Rape and on the website Missing Persons of America. Since its founding in 2012, Anti-Predator Project has expanded and currently has offices in Miami, Dallas, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona. To date Mr. Steele has worked on over 200 human trafficking cases and continues to volunteer his time.

Mr. Steele joined American Special Investigative Group in 2016 as a partner. American Special Investigative Group is a private intelligence and investigations firm based in South Florida. Mr. Steele is a partner in the firm and heads up the private intelligence and sensitive activities division of the company.

In 2019 Mr. Steele began working as a credentialed federal investigator for the defense contractor Peraton where he specialized in HUMINT and counterintelligence. While at Peraton Mr. Steele was assigned to the Department of Defense and Department of State and was tasked with preventing bad actors from infiltrating the government or gaining access to sensitive information. Mr. Steele was part of a team that worked to ensure the security of government personnel and facilities. While at Peraton Mr. Steele was involved in over 100 investigations ensuring that the country’s most sensitive and vital areas of government remained secure and uncompromised. Mr. Steele left that role in August of 2020 and opened Steele International Consulting where he continues to work as a counterintelligence contractor and consultant with the Department of Defense and the Department of State.

Prior to beginning his career as an investigator Mr. Steele worked in management for the security and government contracting firm G4S. G4S is the world’s largest provider of private security and defense contracting services. While at G4S, Mr. Steele worked on several government contacts to include contracts with the Dept of Transportation and Homeland Security where he worked on teams tasked with preventing mass casualty events, terrorist attacks, and protecting our nation’s infrastructure. He also worked as a Program Director for a multi-million-dollar private security contract in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Steele also spent some time working in executive protection with celebrities, high net worth individuals, dignitaries, and film production to include Fox Pictures and USA.

In between his time with defense contractors, Mr. Steele spent nearly a decade working with children in foster care at the Children’s Home Society of Florida. While at the Children’s Home Society he worked as the Independent Living Coordinator where he helped over 300 children transition out of foster care and into the community. Mr. Steele also worked as a Certified Child Welfare Case Manager where he managed the cases of children that had been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Lt Wade Williams

Lieutenant Wade William Bio:

Lt. Williams has been a law enforcement officer for 22 years, 17 of those in investigations, and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminology from Florida State University.  For approximately 10 years, Lt. Williams supervised the Exploitation Section within the Criminal Investigations Division’s Special Crimes Bureau at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.  He was promoted in 2023 to the rank of Lieutenant over the INTERCEPT Task Force and Victim Services Bureau.  The INTERCEPT Task Force and Victim Services includes the SWFL INTERCEPT Task Force and Victim and Senior Services.  The INTERCEPT (Inter-Agency Child Exploitation and Persons Trafficking) Task Force is a regional operational task force, created by Operation Light Shine, comprised of Federal, State and local law enforcement responsible for the investigation of child exploitation and human trafficking.

He is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Federal Task Force, a cross-designated Federal Task Force Officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), a member of the Southwest Florida Child Abduction Response Team (CART), and a member of the Southwest Florida Human Trafficking Task Force.  The ICAC Task Force was created to help Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies enhance their investigative responses to offenders who use the Internet, online communication systems, or computer technology to sexually exploit children. The Program is funded by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.  The ICAC Program is a national network of 61 coordinated task forces representing over 3,000 federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies who work closely with each other and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Lt. Williams regularly trains members of the public and other law enforcement officers on matters of internet safety, internet crimes against children, missing person investigations, and human trafficking and is committed to educating our community on these important issues.  Lt. Williams has received twenty different awards and recognition over his career, including being named the 2019 Law Enforcement Official of the Year by the Florida Office of the Attorney General Ashley Moody at the 2019 Human Trafficking Summit.
